Why Grimoire Exists
Grimoire is a spiritual companion app for solitary witches, built as a private, ad-free alternative to apps that treat spiritual practice as productivity — with no streaks, no algorithm, and no social features.
Grimoire was built as a direct alternative to that. A digital grimoire that behaves like the paper kind — private, personal, and entirely yours. No streaks. No notifications demanding your attention. No algorithm deciding what your practice should look like. Just the tools, and your craft.
The app was conceived by a solitary practitioner who couldn't find what she was looking for — something genuinely useful at the altar, beautiful without being performative, and built on the understanding that spiritual practice is private work. Grimoire is what she built instead.
