No data mining. No AI training. No ads. Every setting in Grimoire exists to give you more control, not less.
Privacy Controls
AI Exclusion Toggle
A single switch that tells Grimoire your content is never to be used for AI training: yours or anyone else's. Your rituals, reflections, and devotional records stay exactly where you put them.
Private Journal by Default
Your Grimoire journal is private to your account and readable only by you. Shadow Work entries go further: they stay on your device only, never synced or uploaded. This is the default, not an opt-in.
No Tracking. Ever.
Grimoire contains no advertising trackers and no analytics that identify you personally, and we never sell or share your data for advertising. Your spiritual practice is not a data point.
Data Export
Your data is yours to take with you. Export your full Grimoire journal as a Markdown file at any time: no waiting, no approval required.

More Settings
Notification Control
No guilt-trip streaks. No engagement notifications. If you want a gentle reminder for a sabbat or a full moon, you can set one, but Grimoire will never nag you to open the app.
Location Privacy
Grimoire uses your city for planetary hours and solar timing, never your precise GPS coordinates. You choose your location manually, and it is saved on your device. The only time it leaves is when you search for a city, which sends the name you type to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service to find its coordinates. It is never tracked or sold.
Craft Name
Set the name you practise under, separate from your account name. Your craft name appears throughout the app as a quiet acknowledgement of the identity you bring to your practice.
Birth Data
Your birth date, time, and place are used only to calculate your natal chart, numerology profile, and the readings built from them. They are saved on your device and stored securely against your account, so your chart carries over to a new device. They are never sold or shared for advertising.
Morning Intentions
Set a daily intention that appears on your Pulse screen each morning. Grimoire includes 365 hand-written intentions tied to the wheel of the year, or write your own. A small ritual of direction, visible only to you.
Account & Subscription
Manage your subscription, change your email, and control your account settings in one place. Cancel any time from within the app: no emails to send, no hoops to jump through.
