What is a Grimoire gift subscription?
A Grimoire gift subscription is a prepaid Premium access code that unlocks the full app for a set period: one month, three months, or a full year. After purchase, a code is sent to the buyer by email. The recipient enters it in the app to activate Premium immediately, with no card required on their end. Gift subscriptions stack, so multiple gifts add up rather than overwriting each other.
Premium gives access to every tool in the app: the natal chart, deity journal, spell builder, shadow work journal, Bibliotheca of sacred texts, and everything else in the full Practice and Codex sections.

What does the recipient get access to?

How does the gift code reach the giver?
After purchase, a gift code is sent to the buyer's email address. The buyer then shares it with the recipient however they choose: in a card, by message, or wrapped in something beautiful. There is no requirement to know the recipient's email address at the time of purchase.
Does the recipient need a credit card?
No. The recipient simply downloads the Grimoire app, creates a free account, and enters the gift code in their profile or subscription settings. The gift period activates immediately with no payment details required from them.
Do gift subscriptions expire if not used?
Gift codes are valid for twelve months from the date of purchase. Once redeemed, the Premium period runs from the date of redemption, not the date of purchase. So a gift bought in October and redeemed in December gives a full uninterrupted period from December.
Can I give more than one gift subscription?
Yes. Gift subscriptions stack: if someone redeems a one-month code while they already have three months remaining, the new month is added to the end of their existing period. There is no limit to how many gift codes a single account can hold.
When will gift subscriptions be available?
Gift subscriptions launch alongside the Grimoire app on Android in June 2026. Join the waitlist to be notified the moment they are available to purchase.
