Every crystal and stone in the Shop is matched to the correspondence tables in The Vault (covering magical properties, chakra associations, elemental rulerships, and ritual uses) so you always know exactly what you're sourcing and why. Once purchased, items can be added to your Apothecary where they remain linked to their Vault entries. What is the Grimoire Shop?
The Grimoire Shop is a curated affiliate apothecary built for solitary witches who want their tools sourced to the standard of their practice. It is not a marketplace, and it is not a generic search filter for everything tagged “witchcraft” across the wider web. Every item listed has been chosen against a single question: would this earn its place in a working practitioner’s kit? Anything that does not has been left off the shelves.
I have been buying herbs and resins for twenty years. The difference between a good supplier and a poor one is not always visible from the description; it shows in whether the frankincense is resin or scented wood chips, whether the sage smells like itself or like something approximating it. The Shop is my shortlist of suppliers where that question has already been answered correctly.
The Shop is open to every Grimoire user. No subscription is required. The supplies are intended to support the practice the rest of the app already holds: your Apothecary, your Spell Builder, your wheel of the year.
Curation
How are products selected?
Each item is evaluated against four criteria. Provenance: we want to know where it comes from and who made it. Quality: it should outperform the cheaper alternatives in any meaningful way a working witch would notice. Authenticity: a moonstone should be a moonstone, and frankincense should be the resin, not a fragrance compound. Ethical standards: responsible sourcing, fair labour, and environmental care.
Where a category cannot be sourced to those standards, it is left out. Curation is editorial, not algorithmic, which means each listing is the result of a human decision rather than a category match.
