Account Deletion
Delete Your Account & Data
Two ways to permanently remove your account.
The in-app path is the fastest; it runs the moment you confirm. If you can no longer sign in or have already uninstalled the app, request deletion from the form below.
Recommended
Delete from inside the app
- 1.Open Grimoire and sign in.
- 2.Go to Profile → Settings → Danger Zone.
- 3.Tap Delete account, type your craft name to confirm, and tap Delete forever.
You will be signed out and returned to the welcome screen. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

We'll verify your identity using the email associated with your account, then process the deletion within 30 days.
Before you delete
Account deletion is permanent. Once your records have been removed and the backup rotation has completed (typically within ninety days), there is no way for us to restore your grimoire, journal entries, deity logs, spell drafts, or uploaded images. If you are uncertain whether you want to leave Grimoire entirely, signing out of the app is enough to step away; your data is preserved on our servers and waiting for you whenever you sign back in. Uninstalling the app from your device, on its own, does not delete your account.
We make deletion this straightforward because we believe a private practice tool should leave the practitioner in full control of her own work. You should never have to email three departments or argue with a chatbot to remove records you no longer want kept. The in-app option runs immediately. The web request above covers the case where you have lost access to the email or device the account was set up on.
What is removed: every record listed above is unlinked from your identity and deleted from our primary databases. What is kept: anonymised, aggregated analytics that contain no personal identifiers may be retained: these track only patterns like how many users opened the moon phase screen this week, and cannot be tied back to any individual account. If you would like a full data export before deletion, request it through the form above or via email; we will send a JSON archive of your records before processing the deletion.
For the legal basis on which we hold and remove your data, including your rights under UK GDPR, see the Privacy Policy. For questions about anything covered here, contact us: we read and answer every deletion query personally.
